The Mozambique Initiative is a global partnership, partnering churches together in Missouri and Mozambique, Africa through the Missouri Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. The churches commit themselves to share the life of Christ through global sharing.
Central has become a partner with Nhandoa United Methodist Church in Mozambique, Africa. This ministry is led by Pastor Borges Camilo. Nhandoa UMC has a membership of 107 members, 37 recently baptized.
This congregation currently has no accessible water, any operational phone systems, is concerned with major drought and hunger, and lacks the supplies for furnishings and benches in their worship space.
Central is committed to sharing their resources and joining with God's concern for the poor and oppressed. If you would like to share in this ministry contact us. 417-673-4238.
