What should I wear?
Central is a place of comfort, our worship service is an "experience with God", and experiencing God is not based on fashion. Come as you are. Comfortable and Casual.
Do I have to give?
We believe that giving comes from the heart. Here at Central, "We give nothing from the pocket that does not come from the heart". Giving is based on you. We are a church that believes in giving back to God, which is our tithe, symbolic of how God continues to show love, show us mercy, and grace in an unmerited way.
Will I be singled out as a visitor?
You are welcomed in a non-threatening manner, we pride ourselves in Radical Hospitality.
Will I be bothered with questions, or feel pressured to come again?
You will be extended an open door invitation, meaning you are always welcomed, not pressured.
What about my kids?
We have an awesome Children's Program. Children of all ages are welcome. We have certified trainers and teachers who are equipped and inspired to work with children. We offer a
Rotational Sunday School with hands-on activities that allow children to be creative and inspired to learn God's Word. We offer a
Children's Church for Children K-4th grade. Children are also included in the Sunday Morning Worship experience with a Children's Sermon. Your child is also invited to be a part of our
Acolyte Ministry. We welcome the entire family, we believe that the family illustrates we serve a relational God.
What version of the Bible do you use?
Our pew Bibles located in the sanctuary are the New International Version (NIV), some members carry the New Living Translation, The New Revised Standard Version, etc. The pastor preaches from the New Revised Standard Version. We believe that each person should use the translation which speaks to their spirit.
